Kevin is an associate attorney at Bonya Gazza & DeGory, LLP. He concentrates his practice primarily in the area of energy law, with a particular emphasis on oil and gas title certification.
Kevin regularly represents oil and gas operators in land issues and leasing matters. He also represents businesses and individuals in civil litigation and in other general practice areas of law.
Kevin does pro bono work for petitioners seeking Protection From Abuse orders in Indiana County and is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association's "Lawyers Saluting Veterans" pro bono program.
Kevin is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association’s Shale Energy Law Committee and Environmental and Energy Law Section.
In his oil and gas work, Kevin represents clients in property ownership issues and commercial leasing matters. Kevin’s experience includes reviewing oil and gas title abstracts, interpreting conveyances for exceptions and reservations of oil, gas, coal and other minerals, advising clients on how to cure defects in oil and gas ownership and leasehold estates, and certifying title to oil and gas for leasing and development throughout Pennsylvania.

Kevin is a member of the Indiana County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
Kevin earned his J.D. in 2013 from Duquesne University School of Law, where he graduated in the top quarter of his class. During law school, he participated in the Trial Advocacy program, served as Secretary for the Constitutional Law Society, and received the 2013 Cali Excellence for the Future Award in Conflict of Laws. During law school, he was employed at a Pittsburgh-based law firm where he gained experience in litigation preparation and probate matters.
Prior to law school, Kevin obtained a M.S. in Recreation, Parks and Tourism Resources at West Virginia University, where he was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. During graduate school, Kevin worked as a teaching/research assistant, co-authored a recreation plan for Cooper’s Rock State Forest in West Virginia, and managed a team of researchers for the National Visitor Use Monitoring Program in Oregon and Washington while conducting research for his thesis. Kevin earned his B.S. in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management from Pennsylvania State University.
Before joining BGD, Kevin operated his own solo practice in Uniontown, Pennsylvania.
Kevin is a native of Uniontown, Pennsylvania, where he graduated from Laurel Highlands High School in 2001. He currently resides in Indiana, Pennsylvania.
